Burns Lunch at the Conversation Cafe

This year at the ESOL Conversation Cafe, we hosted a special Burns Lunch, celebrating Scottish Heritage and introducing Robbie Burns to the New Scots in our community.

The ceremonial address to the Haggis was given emphatically by Father Mitchell and both impressed and maybe slightly confused those who are still learning English in our community (never mind scots).

A great day of culture sharing and learning.
