Picturing Garnethill II
This creative project started with some small community workshops in the Multicultural Centre and the goal of creating new bespoke curtains for the Multicultural Centre’s upstairs hall. The last ones were donated by a local shop a couple of decades back (AT LEAST) and they need replaced!
Picturing Garnethill
We’ve got a fantastic opportunity here in the building to work with the community on a new creative project! Our upstairs hall was recently repainted and now looks so much sharper. As part of that redecoration, we need new curtains
New Year Knees Up
In partnership with Migrant Voice, we put on a wonderful ceilidh on Saturday 21st January 2023. Over a hundred folk came to dance various Scottish and traditional dances from all over the world, as well as sample homemade food too!

Halloween Windows
For the past couple of years the Garnethill Multicultural Centre has hosted Halloween! With a view to inviting many of the local children into the building to celebrate together, some local parents have done a lot of planning and helping out. This year was our biggest yet with over 100 people in the hall, dancing…
Food Hub - Grand Opening
On 29th April 2022 the new Garnethill Food Hub was declared open by three year old Morven and the Lord Provost, Phillip Braat. Many local residents, school children and local nurseries came out to watch the ribbon cutting ceremony, along with an impressive performance from our very own Hung Fut Lion Dancers.
